Defining Design

DigiDVD.co.uk website

I was given the brief to make a clean professional website to promote a CD/DVD duplication business. The client wanted a particular look and feel, which I gave him using current best practices, and I was able to inject some design flair into the details.

The toughest and most time-consuming part of this project was the dynamic order/quote form which includes a number of jquery functions all working in tandem, and plenty of css to make the form look great. I use a robust PHP script to send the user a copy of the quote, if they complete the form correctly, preventing spam submissions.

About me

Hello. My name is Adrian Jefferies. I have been working in print and screen-based graphics for many years in Leicester, and I like to take a no nonsense approach to my designs. Simply stated, I make your stuff look good. This website looks great on large or small screens, so no need for a second mobile version. Try it on your phone and you'll see. It's called responsive web design.

I can work with the vaguest of briefs (although I prefer them more detailed), and have an approachable can-do attitude. If you like the look of this website, or any of the ones in my portfolio above, then I’d be very pleased to hear from you.

You may be thinking, 'why should I pay for graphic design, when I have Microsoft Publisher or Frontpage and can do it myself?' These days, many people can use a computer, and bang out a leaflet or website. It might look great to you, but it will probably not look very good to your customers!

Professional, high quality graphics need not cost a lot. Really. Your business needs to present a high quality professional image to your customers. I can guide you at each step from idea to final product, so why not get in touch.
